How to Recycle Television in DFW
With Black Friday and Cyber Monday just around the corner, televisions are among the most sought-after items on shoppers’ lists. However, what is the proper way to dispose of your old TV? TVs can contain lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium, and barium, which are hazardous materials that pose significant risks to both human health and the environment if not disposed of properly. When these substances are improperly discarded, they can leach into the soil and water, leading to contamination that can affect local ecosystems and communities. Therefore, it is crucial to handle the disposal of old TVs with care, ensuring that they are recycled through appropriate channels.
